SeeChange Health offers small group clients something new: value-based health insurance. Like traditional carriers they cover employee health care expenses when they are sick or injured. Unlike most health plans they encourage their insureds to take an active role in achieving and maintaining good health. The result: enriched benefits, reduced costs, better employee health and more satisfied clients.
As far as we know, SeeChange Health is the first new carrier to enter the California market since implementation of AB 1672 in 1993. Their application to sell coverage has been approved by the Department of Insurance and their able to offer policies with effective dates of May 1, 2010 and after.

As you know SeeChange Health is currently available in several CA counties, but they’re expanding quickly. SeeChange Health will soon be available throughout California plus several other states. Please stay tuned for new market announcements.

How Early do we submit the forms before our requested effective date?
It is ideal to submit all completed forms two weeks before the requested effective date to provide amplet time for the carrier to underwrite and provide a group number.
